Description
Surf Echoes, a series of 12 images that explores the movement, texture, and atmosphere of the ocean through photographic studies that hover between representation and abstraction. Breaking waves, sea spray, and shifting water surfaces become exercises in pattern, light, and form, encouraging close attention to the constantly changing character of the sea. Influenced by contemporary coastal and abstract photography, the series emphasizes repetition, texture, and subtle variation over narrative or specific location. Through softened contrasts and layered tonal relationships, Surf Echoes transforms familiar seascapes into contemplative studies of movement, rhythm, and the sculptural qualities of water.
